...................In my opinion, women should have the same rights as men and be allowed to serve in the military. First of all, women are equally capable of protecting their country as men. Not all men are cut out to be soldiers, just like not all women are good house keepers or caregivers. Joining the military is an individual choice and it shouldn’t depend on gender but your ability and will to protect your country. Also, society has changed over the years and is becoming more open to women joining the military as a profession. Another reason why women should be allowed to join the military is because there are many men in the world who disrespect women no matter who they are or what they do. There are many reasons why women should be allowed to serve in the military just like men and should not be discriminated against for wanting to do something most people in the world don't want to do. Fight hard for your rights because you have the right to be a soldier if you want.
.................... My youngest dog, Nomi, is extremely cute. He has short white fur which is about an inch long except for his ears and tail. In the picture, he's wearing a sweater because he gets cold in the winter. He also has adorable puppy eyes which are often difficult to refuse. For example, during dinner time, he sits on a chair next to the table and stares at everyone until they give him some food. He also has a very sharp high-pitched bark which he only uses when he wants to play. He is always around no matter where you are in the house. For example, if you go to the kitchen, he'll follow. If you go to the bathroom, he'll wait outside the door until you come out. If you go to bed, he's right there next to you. He's cute in every way, but he knows it and therefore is also very spoiled.
.................... There is a growing need to provide more technical English programs to foreign students. First, the most popular major among foreign students in the United States is Business & Management Engineering. Over 19% of foreign students studying in America major in Business and over 15% major in Engineering. This means that more than 34% of all foreign students are studying either engineering or business and management. However, the need for more technical English programs does not end there. More technical English programs are needed for mathematics, computer science and social sciences. Over 27% of foreign students major in these fields which also require technical English. Over all, the number of foreign students majoring in business, science or math greatly out-weighs the number of students studying other subjects therefore increasing the need to provide more technical English programs.
...............Having good manners will help you get farther in life. First, if you have good manners people presume you come from a good family with morals which is sometimes important in society. This can help you get a better job, get into a more prestigious school or sometimes find the perfect spouse. Second, having good manners will help you achieve success. No one wants to work with or for someone who is disrespectful, rude, or inconsiderate. Third, good manners earn respect. For example, if a man opens a door for a woman or if someone holds the door for you, it shows that they were raised to respect others and people will respect them in return. Having good manners is also good for your soul. People live life trying to please themselves and others, and one way of accomplishing this is by having good manners. Having good manners can take you farther in life, but knowing that you treated yourself and others well is the most important in the end.
...............My bedroom is my favorite room in the house. First, it's my favorite room because it's spacious. Even though there's a large bed in the middle of the room, two night stands on each side of the bed, and a large plant and a fishtank along the left wall, there's still plenty of room to move around. Another reason why I like my bedroom is because it is full of bright and happy colors. The curtains covering the large window above the bed gives the room a very warm feeling. The thing I like most about my bedroom is my bed. It is very comfortable and the bedding is silk. It is soft, warm in winter, cool in summer and most importantly pretty. I spend as much time as I can in my room and everyone in my family knows where to find me if I'm not in the kitchen.
